Social Psychology Section Rules and Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Social Psychology Section will be held on Wednesday 10 September 2014, 5.30pm till 6.30pm at Powell Lecture Theatre, Canterbury Christ Church University, Rochester House, St. George’s Place, Canterbury, CT1 1UT.

Nominations for the above vacancies should be sent to the Honorary Secretary on the enclosed nomination form, at the Society’s offices to reach us no later than 12 noon on Wednesday 30 July 2014, at the address on the nomination form.

All nominees must be Full Members of the Social Psychology Section with voting rights unless otherwise specified. The nominations require a proposer and seconder who must be Full Members of the Social Psychology Section with voting rights and the consent of the nominee to accept office, if elected, must be obtained in writing.

Nominees are asked to complete brief biographical details of not more than 300 words, using the reverse of the nomination form. This information will be used should a ballot be necessary.

Social Psychology Section - New Standardised Rules - August 2013

To submit a nomination by email please scan a copy of the signed form and send it to the email address stated on the nomination form.
Alternatively, if the nominee does not have the signatures for the proposer or seconder, the nominee can email the completed form and ask that the proposer or seconder separately send an email from their Society-registered email address - including their membership number - to Member Network Services, stating they are happy to propose or second the nominee.
